She has been interested in serving society from very early days. She has associated herself with an organisation Larche international, which has a branch in Nandi Bazar – AshaNikethan. For the last 25 years, she has been associated with these intellectually challenged people of Asha Nikethan. Simultaneously, she started a charitable trust in 2006 named Organization for  aged and needy (OFAN) to help people suffering from old age and poverty sickness. One of the visions of OFAN is to help out underprivileged students who are excellent in their studies to achieve their goals. She is the chairman of OFAN.
